The Lord was so faithful to use our preparations to reveal himself and his character to all ages despite a language barrier. We had the opportunity to share Christ at many schools (Buddhist government schools) with hundreds of kids and meet and fellowship with fellow believers in every town we visited. We were so humbled by their hospitality. On top of that, we were able to bond and grow as a team in ways that just weren’t possible for the rest of our time at ACTS. The Scripture that continued to come back in our discussions was the benediction at the end of Romans 11 (vv 33-36) and for me was a resounding theme for this trip, particularly with wrestling together through various trials and thoughts or convictions, and recognizing that God’s purposes are far beyond anything we can imagine. I am so thankful to have been a part of this team.

Hardships can be such blessings when we realize what lessons we learned from growing through them with others.
