Each week, ACTS students spend an afternoon engaged in some form of local ministry…

This can include anything from helping families pack to move, yard work, or serving at a Union Gospel Mission children’s ministry.

This week, the team headed an hour out-of-town to White Swan to cut and stack firewood for Sacred Road Ministries – a mission with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) to the Yakama Nation. SRM will then donate this wood to local families to heat their homes, which is a part of their larger vision to show as well as proclaim the Lord’s kindness to them. The weather was absolutely perfect as we spent three hours chopping, stacking, and loading firewood.
